MycoKids with Vii, Fungi Fun Activities for Kids and parents.

Connection with Nature plays crucial role in our mental and physical health, both for kids and adults. In the era of fast growing technology, its important to balance our life with physical outdoor activities. At MycoKids we have lots of exciting activities to discover fascinating world of fungi and their importance for us and Nature.

Our classes are designed for groups 5- 10 and 10-15 years old.

MYCOKIDS WORKSHOPS AT GCWG ARE DONATION BASED.

• hunting for mushrooms

• making spore prints

• mushroom art

• how mushrooms clean the planet

• growing own mushrooms

You can hire us for private and public events, we collaborate with charities and communities around Scotland who promote well-being in the Nature.

Place: we can travel to any location in Scotland for free within 60 miles from Edinburgh

Few words about tutor Vii:

Vii or Victoria its an extremally talented young artist, she grown up surrounded by mushrooms. Her first Foraging Adventures in the woods started before she learned to walk. By age 4 Vii was able to identify many wild mushrooms. When Vii became teenager she decided, she hates mushrooms. From age of 14 mushrooms became inspiration for her art and craft designs. Victoria became the Director of Mycobee Mushrooms CIC, she attended many farmers markets, Scottish Wild Food Festival, learned how to grow mushrooms, went to Transylvania for Fungi Conference and currently working on developing her fungi art designs and MycoKids workshops.

Children and adults love Vii.
